Hello Barker Families!

This is an important reminder regarding the car line protocol for days with a heat advisory: Students who are being picked up from the car line will be waiting in the MPR (staying cool).  Please place the bright yellow paper with your child's last name on it on your dashboard or front window when you arrive for pick up. These car placards went home last Friday. If you don't have yours, please be prepared to quickly let our staff know your student's last name. Our staff members will have walkie talkies to communicate to the staff in the MPR when you have arrived to pick up your child.

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Advisory that we expect to be extended through the remainder of this week.  Barker is implementing high heat protocols to help ensure that our students remain as cool as possible. Thank you so much for your patience in the car line today and this week.
