Heat Wave Continues

• Thursday, September 10, 2026

Hello Barker Families!

It has been another great week here, despite the heat!  I am so proud of how our students are handling the changing of schedules and activities due to the Heat Wave.   It looks as though the heat wave will continue into next week.  With that said, there will be a different protocol for the car line.  Student who are being picked up from the car line will be waiting in the MPR (staying cool).  Our staff members will have walkie talkies to communicate when you have arrived to pick you child up.

To help us make this process as smooth as possible, please post the bight yellow paper with your child's last name on it, on your dashboard or front window when you arrive for pick up.  Our staff will communicate the name they see on your dash to the MPR and your child will be brought out to you.

Thank you Barker Families!
I hope each of you stays cool this weekend!
Mrs. Parker
