SAVE THE DATE!
Our next PTA Association Meeting is Wednesday October 21st at 6:00pm. The agenda is posted on our Barker PTA Website. Children are welcome to attend.
We will also have our first Reflections Art Exhibit during the meeting. If your child did not submit the interest form, they can still submit their artwork until October 16th. Please fill out the submission form for all entries: Reflections Submission Form.
Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program that encourages artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Winners receive official recognition, certificates or medals, and a chance to advance through local, regional, and state levels up to the national competition. This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me”. A winner from Barker will be selected from each of these categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. If you have any questions, please email barkerpta@gmail.com.
We’re excited to see the amazing things our students create and hope you will join us.
