Good evening Barker families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!  Whether you are returning  or new at Barker, I would like to welcome all of our Barker families for another year of school!  We have been busy planning for the first day of school, Monday, August 11th but I wanted to make you aware of some important updates and back to school events.  Classes will be posted Tuesday, August 5th after 5:00 pm (web browser and tablets) and 10:00 pm for phones.  

Please join me for our back to school Ice Cream Social Friday, August 8th at 3:00 pm in our quad (by the USA map).  This is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with our community and see some old/new smiling faces!  We will also have a TK Meet N' Greet before beginning at 2:30 in the TK/Kinder play yard.  I hope you can join me for these events.

We would like to welcome all our families the first day of school, August 11th, navigating our campus and finding classrooms.  Please note, beginning Tuesday, August 12th, we will operate as a closed campus.  Only TK/K parents may walk their children to class.  Should you have any questions or inquiries at this time, please direct them to our office at (714) 663-6164.

Lastly, I would like to acknowledge how proud I am to be returning to Barker as the school principal for my fourth year here.  Over the years, I have learned what a special and tight knit community our school is, and it's only because of our families and neighborhoods.  I'm looking forward to another fantastic school year!
