Barker Elementary is a Closed Campus

Barker families,

Hope this message finds you well!  This is just a reminder that we are a closed campus, as all schools are in GGUSD.  Parents, please do not accompany children to the playground, Multi-Purpose Room, breakfast area, or classroom, as we are trying to support independence and ensure campus safety.  We realize it may be confusing as we do allow our TK/K parents to walk across the campus; however, we do ask our 1st through sixth grade parents to respectfully reserve this protocol that has been in put place since we installed our gates.  If you do need to come onto our campus, we ask that you check in at our front office, and we will be happy to help you.  In addition, we are keeping all gates closed before school for safety, except for the gate by the USA map and by the MPR.  Thank you very much for your cooperation with this!  See you all tomorrow morning!
