Barker is celebrating the honor of being named a California Distinguished School with a celebration on Friday, April 25th. Here are some fun facts about the day:
- The pancake breakfast will start serving at 8:00
- Students can have pancakes this morning at no cost if they arrive by 8:15
- Students need to be finished with breakfast and report to class at 8:30, so please plan accordingly and arrive close to 8:00 if eating breakfast
- For parents who pre-paid for a breakfast, your tickets will be available for pick up at a table just outside Mrs. Askew's office
- Since many parents are joining us, there will be limited parking, so please walk to school if convenient for your family
- If you are joining us for the celebration, please plan on arriving early and allow time for a congested parking lot
- We are SO PROUD of our students and each student will receive a complimentary Barker Distinguished School t-shirt and they will be given the shirts in the morning on April 25th from their teacher
- The shirts are white, so an undershirt may be beneficial
- Barker will have a special presentation around 8:40 that will be over around 9:00
