February 13th Lincoln's Holiday there will be no school

Special Person's Day on February 18th! Special Person's Day is an annual Barker event where each student may invite one special adult (grandparent, aunt, uncle, adult sibling...) to join them at school for lunch. The special person can bring lunch for them and their student, but school lunch will still be available for students who want a school lunch this day. Picnic blankets or camping chairs may be brought to school for a perfect picnic experience! We look forward to meeting all the special people in the lives of our students! times are: TBD

Barker families, This is just a reminder for our parents that only our TK/K children can be accompanied on campus by a parent before school. We understand that it may be necessary to walk our smallest Lions to class; however, in grades 1st-6th we are trying to promote independence in our children, and they should not be accompanied by parents on the campus unless permitted otherwise. Just a reminder, parents are to remain outside of the campus until the bell rings. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! Mrs. Askew
